There's a certain elegance to the Pebble's simple and understated design. I think it's far better looking than, say, the squat and thick Martian Passport smartwatch. The plastic casing feels hollow, though, and the buttons along both sides of the watch face feel a bit mushy, preventing the watch from having a rock-solid feel. The included polyurethane band is decidedly understated, but you can swap in any standard 22mm watchband.

The Pebble is available in black, white, red, orange, or gray. On the left side is a single button that brings you to the Menu page, while the right side houses Up, Down, and Select buttons for navigation. Tapping any of the buttons activates the Pebble's backlight, and quick flicks of your wrist also light up the display, which is a nice touch. The watch face is customizable, and at the time of testing there were nine choices that ranged from a standard analog look to a futuristic dot matrix.

He shared the code with me, as well as with his girlfriend, buddies and a few other neighbors. I shared it with some people, and so did others. Within a few weeks, the building's security system was buzzing constantly for people who didn't actually have one of the dozen or so physical keys given to tenants.

Google fixes Gmail after brief outage around the world

San Francisco:  Google Inc suffered a service outage on Friday that briefly took down Gmail, the email service used by hundreds of millions of people and many businesses across the globe.

Google, which first acknowledged the outage at 11:12 a.m. Pacific Time (1912 GMT), said a little over an hour later that the problem with Gmail had been resolved.

As of late Friday, the company did not offer an explanation for the outage, which affected users in at least India, Britain and the United States and prompted a stream of complaints on Twitter from users in many more countries.

"We're investigating reports of an issue with Gmail. We will provide more information shortly," the company said on its "App Status" dashboard online, which tracks the state of various Google services.

NBI Clearance Online Application System is now available| How to Apply

Manila, Philippines - The Department of Justice (DOJ) announced today that beginning Friday, January 24, 2014, applicants for the NBI clearance can apply and fill-out the complete form thru online registration system.

In the new system (eClearance), process requires clearance registration, applicant information, contact details, family background and other related information.

“With the implementation of the new NBI system, we shall continue to roll-out and implement solutions to progressively eliminate queues and simplify processes,” said Secretary of Justice Leila M. de Lima. “online application is the logical next step after the switch.”

Over the holidays, DOJ said that they have successfully switched on its very own clearance system. The soft launch was made on January 2, 2014 with the head office and 18 branches nationwide.

Hindi ko naman sinasabi na itigil mo na ang pag susulat mo sa diary. Kung alam mo lang sa pag ba-blog ay maaari kang kumita dito. Oo tama ang narinig mo pwede kang kumita sa pag ba-blog mo. Paano? ikwento mo sa pagong hehe just kidding.
